Our Story
A collective for the modern homestead.
Homesteading Collective started at a kitchen table in 2024. I was three years into raising chickens, five years into a raised-bed garden, and forever into canning peaches every August. Every time I needed a piece of gear, I ended up cross-referencing five websites — a farm-supply catalog for the coop, an outdoor retailer for the axe, a specialty foods site for the canning kit, a wellness shop for the tincture bottles.
None of it felt like one thing. None of it spoke to the actual life we were living: modern, practical, and a little tired of being told that being self-sufficient meant dressing like a pioneer.
“I built the store I wanted to shop at.”
— Linda, Founder
01
Curated, not cluttered
Every product is one we would use ourselves. If it isn't better than what's on the shelf, we don't stock it.
02
Modern & practical
This isn't a costume. We serve the people actually growing food, raising animals, and preparing their households — today.
03
Built to be handed down
We favor gear that outlives the season, the year, and the generation. Buy it once.
